Carl is the Chairman of Bates Office with many years experience in the office supplies market Carl has become a leading industry figure, as demonstrated by being twice voted by his fellow dealers as Chairman of Integra, the largest UK dealer group; A position that he continues to hold.
Outside of business Carl is a keen supporter of Stoke City.

Managing Director – Spencer Osborne
Spencer has been Managing Director of Bates Office for the last ten years, prior to this he was the Sales & Marketing Director. Spencer comes from a family synonomous with the office supplies
market and his depth of knowledge of the industry is respected by all.
Outside of the business Spencer is a keen supporter of West Ham.

Director - Michael Edmonds
Michaels father Peter Edmonds founded Bates Office and Michael began working there as soon as he left school. Starting from the ground repairing typewriters, he worked his way up the hard way. Michael has been the driving force behind the success of Bates Office. Michael works very closely with Carl in promoting Bates Office in our Northern operations.
Outside of the business is a land not visited that often by Michael.

Finance Director - Jacki Joseph
Jacki is Michael's sister and joined the business in 1996 following a successful career in the Advertising and Media industry, where she was Financial Controller for various companies.
With a small but dedicated team Jacki oversees every aspect of the financial management of Bates Office.
As well as finance Jacki is responsible for the HR function at Bates Office.
Outside of the business Jacki supports Karen Millen and Jo Malone.

Commercial Director – David Taylor
Responsible for all service aspects for the group, from customers service, logistics and supplier relations.
David has extensive industry knowledge having worked in the industry for over 16 years.Holding roles such as regional sales manager and more recently holding an £85 million pound budget as Regional Director for the UK’s leading wholesaler. David is a great asset to the board of directors.
David splits his week and is based at both the Crewe and Crayford office.
Outside work David shows the same commitment to his family.

Logistics Director – Paul Moody
Paul has been at Bates Office for over twenty years at some point during this time has done probably every job within the warehouse and logistical operation. Paul now manages the distribution fleet as well ensuring the smooth running of all warehouse operations.
Outside of the business Paul, even at his 'ripe' old age, still manages to play football !

Sales & Marketing Director – Neil Longhorn
Neil has worked for Bates Office for the last eight years. Initially as a consultant from his own firm of marketing consultants, then in 2009 on a full time basis when he was persuaded to return to the corporate arena as Sales and Marketing Manager. Neil is responsible for managing the various sales processes, looking after the account managers, creating sales tools and developing marketing strategy.
Outside of the business Neil enjoys Yoga and reading 19th century Russian literature.
