Price Pledge
The pricing of office supplies is a complicated thing!
With different discount bands off of catalogue RRP’s; special offers, which only last a short time; unbranded and branded alternatives; and pricing fluctuations in different product groups due to a volatile world economy. The whole thing can be a bit of a minefield.
At Bates Office we make the pricing issue as transparent as possible, with customers getting fixed pricing for what they use and clear no ‘quibble’ discount structures on non-core products. Underpinning our pricing policy is a commitment to ensure that our customers benefit from the most competitive pricing in the market. Our pledge if a customer is able to show a better published price from a competitor for a comparable product... we will amend our pricing, we will refund the difference and we will apologise!
Service Levels
People talk about high service levels, but at Bates Office we put our money where our mouth is, with every new customer we commit ourselves to meeting realistic agreed levels of service, be it from how soon we will answer the phone to where and when products will be delivered. Performance against these service levels is reviewed regularly, with penalties agreed if they fall below standards. We do not often have to envoke these penalties!
